The Saratoga Chamber Players present 5 concerts a season of what one reviewer recently called, “a series not to be missed.” Under the direction of Jill Levy, musicians come from a pool of fine artists, many of whom are soloists of international standing and members of prestigious ensembles such as the New York Philharmonic, the Orpheus and the Knights Chamber Orchestras, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Muir String Quartet, the Takacs Quartet and the Beaux Arts Trio.
To keep this level of artistry, we rely on the generosity of our supporters. Ticket admissions cover only 34% of our costs, in part because we want to keep our concerts free to all students under the age of 18. We believe it is our mission to enable young people to experience the beauty and joy found in listening to chamber music played in an intimate setting by world-class musicians. Last year 40% of our budget consisted of financial support from foundations and community businesses who value the contributions made by the Saratoga Chamber Players to the cultural life of the area and who appreciate the “stylish sense of repertory” and fine musicianship.
Won’t you please consider a fully tax-deductible gift so that you too will have the satisfaction of knowing that your contribution is adding something of true and lasting value to the community?
We are enormously grateful for your support of Saratoga Chamber Players and look forward to seeing you at our concerts this season.
